WW2 United States 90mm M3 Scale Model Cannon Shells
This was made at the request of a user who wanted a scale model version of my full-size 90mm M3 cannon shells which equipped Pershing tanks and M36 tank destroyers used in WW2 by the United States.
Five shells and a hollow case are included. From left to right in the pictures, they are:
- M77 AP
- M82 APC
- T33 AP
- T30E16 HVAP
- M71 HE with M48A3 fuze
- a hollow case representing an empty fired case with the crimps blown out
Each shell prints in one part and is best printed in resin. They have been optimised for printing at large model sized scales. Some of the smaller details such as engraved text on the primer + fuzes that would be on my full-size replicas have been removed as it would not be visible at scale model sizes.
These STL's are supplied at 1:6 scale but could be easily converted in your slicer to other scales (divide 6 by your preferred scale to get the number you need, ie to convert to 1:16, divide 6 by 16 to get 0.375, this is the number you would need to enter into the scale function of your slicer.)
Best suited for armour modellers who are building at large scale sizes!
(Note: This is a cosmetic imitation only, it cannot function or be made to function as a real device. I am not responsible for any mis-use of the printed items. The renders showing paint colours and markings are for illustration purposes only. These files are sold under the terms of the Cults Private Use license.)
