Rocinante Destroyer Strider

Striders by nature are intended for close combat, often in urban environments, and the Rocinante destroyer strider takes that specialization to the extreme. Massive in scale compared to even the hulking Balius, a Rocinante exists to close the gap between itself and the enemy as quickly as possible and bully its target into submission once there. Due to this specialization most variants eschew ranged weapons almost entirely and rely on the machine’s overcharged Gravity Engine, thick armor, and rocket thrusters to negate a foe’s range advantage.
Because of its high expense and challenging single-pilot controls, the Rocinante is nearly always assigned to veteran operators and is thus seen as an ace machine within the Strider Corps. These experienced pilots have come up with a variety of specialized tactics and maneuvers based around the machines' quirks and capabilities. Prominent examples include bounding 'Death from Above' attacks, and the 'Grav Lasso', in which pilots use their engine’s projectors to create a grav-pulse between themselves and a target - both drawing the enemy closer and speeding up their own advance. This practice is officially outlawed due to the strain it puts on the strider, but its effectiveness when successfully executed cannot be overlooked.
The Rocinante is primarily equipped with weapons that are either handheld or mounted at the forearm for maximum dexterity and versatility. Combined with the priveleges afforded veteran and/or noble operators, many of the machines feature custom armaments unique to a pilot's fighting style or appropriate to their home fortress.
As built, a Rocinante is equipped with a heavy Rail Lance and Projector Shield. The former is a formidable close-combat weapon with a pair of lightning cannon under the grip for close-range skirmishing or finishing off an opponent once their armor has been cracked by the lance. The Projector shield contains amplifiers for the Strider's grav engine, allowing it to deflect a weight of fire that would give even a Land Monitor reason to pause. The heavy shield is also a useful close combat weapon in a pinch.
Additional configurations should be coming soon!
update 3/25: Kneepads added to print list for pre-posed legs. Missing thumb joint added back to lance.
update 3/27: Drainage hole added to left knee on pre-posed legs. Minor update to pelvis and front torso for improved posability.

This kit contains the Rocinante Destroyer Strider in its primary configuration.
The kit contains multiple options for the upper and lower sensor slots, an alternate side-torso insert, and an alternate shield. Pre-posed legs are also included in addition to the multi-part configuration for easier assembly.
This kit is presupported, but also includes unsupported STLs for those who want to print in FDM or would prefer to handle their own supports.
The model is quite poseable and set up for magnetization - you'll want the highest-strength 8mm ones you can get if you choose to go that route. While all arm joints have magnet slots, I would recommend being choosy about which joints to magnetize and glue the rest for better stability and durability.
