Cyclops Monster Final Fantasy 3 chibi collection

The Cyclops is an enemy from Final Fantasy III. It can be found in Doga's Grotto, and the player should fight and defeat the enemy during their first trip through; once the party beats the bosses, the area becomes inaccessible. Cyclops (Κύκλωψ, Kýklōps) is the singular form of cyclopes. In Greek mythology, the cyclopes are a race of giants, having but a single round eye on their forehead. They were said to be children of other mythological beings, such as the gods, nymphs, and even the Earth itself. Skilled blacksmiths, the cyclopes sometimes made weapons for the gods, most famous of these being the thunderbolts of Zeus.
