"textContent": "Have you ever needed to join two bits of filament together? The Filament Joining Tool makes it easy! With this tool, you can make quick work of joining two old pieces of filament together. This is good for joining old bits together so that they run through the AMS as a single piece; that way, it doesn't have to waste any changing the filament when one piece runs out. If the pieces of filament are different colors, it will just change color as it's going through (like it does when changing with the AMS, but without wasting any). \n\n\n\nI was surprised that I couldn't find a simple tool like this when I looked for it, so I went ahead and made one myself. I hope you find it useful. I recommend using TPU to print it out so that it can stand up to the heat. I've only used it with PLA so far, but I would think it would work with PETG as well.",
