"textContent": "This project is a compact linear actuator fully designed from scratch and optimized for 3D printing. It is intended for use in DIY projects, robotics, RC systems, and various automation applications.\n\nThe actuator converts rotational motion into linear movement using a motor with gearbox and a threaded lead screw, providing smooth and controlled extension and retraction.\n\nThe design is focused on simplicity, functionality, and ease of assembly, making it suitable for hobbyists and makers using standard consumer 3D printers.\n\nDesign & Construction\n\nThe actuator consists of several main parts:\n\nMain box (housing) that contains the motor, gearbox, and internal mechanism\nSliding piston (rod) that moves inside the housing\nTop cover, which encloses the assembly and is secured with 6 screws\n\nInside the mechanism:\n1. A geared motor with a threaded lead screw (55 x 4 mm) is used to drive the piston.\n2. Nut 5mm long\n\nDimensions\nCollapsed length: 100 mm\nExtended length: 150 mm\n\nFeatures\nFully 3D modeled from scratch\nFunctional linear motion mechanism\nCompact and lightweight design\nSuitable for robotics and DIY automation projects\nEasy to assemble\nOptimized for home 3D printers\nModular construction for easy maintenance",
