Deftones’ Shelved Album Eros Reportedly Leaks After 18 Years

In 2008, Deftones were working on an album called Eros when a car crash put bassist Chi Cheng into a coma. The album was put on pause, and Cheng died five years later. Fans have long clamored to hear the material, but when answering fan-submitted questions last year for The Guardian , frontman Chino Moreno said Eros was mostly unfinished and would likely never come out:
