Burson names Jonty Summers to senior Middle East role

Burson has hired former Hanover Middle East head Jonty Summers to oversee the firm's corporate affairs offering in the region, Earned First can reveal. The appointment comes after Earned First reported Summers' departure from Hanover last week.

Summers reports to Burson MENAT CEO Fouad Bou Mansour, who took charge of the WPP agency last year, amid a series of senior departures. The arrival of Summers, after 10 years with Hanover, follows the appointments of Sana Ali Khan as chief client officer and Claire Lawson as head of its Dubai office.
