Weber Shandwick names new CEO

Weber Shandwick has named Karen Pugliese as the firm's new CEO, ahead of current chief Susan Howe's retirement in September.

The announcement comes amid the departure of global president and North America CEO Jim O'Leary to become CEO of Penta. Pugliese also served as global president of Weber Shandwick since December 2024, following a 15-year career with the Omnicom PR firm.
