"textContent": "Microsoft’s Pavan Davuluri, President of Windows + Devices (W+D), has promised that we will see various improvements to Windows 11 going forward. The recent strategic shift is a direct response to all the harsh criticism suffered over the past year-plus of broken updates.\n\nWindows Latest has compiled a list of 18 promised features and improvements that are slated to roll out to the public within 2026. Among other things, Microsoft promises to improve the following:\n\n * Taskbar\n * Start menu\n * Copilot scaled back\n * Windows Update\n * OOBE installation process\n * File Explorer\n * Dark mode inconsistencies\n * Settings app redesign\n * System performance\n * Hardware stability\n * Bluetooth and audio\n * Windows Hello passwordless security\n * Touchpad and haptic feedback\n * Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL)\n * Native first-party apps\n * Feature Flags for Windows Insiders\n * Feedback Hub\n * Fewer advertisements\n\n\n\nThe idea is that these changes will be part of the monthly Windows updates, so expect 2 to 3 improvements per month going forward.\n\n**Further reading:** These Windows 11 issues still need fixing",
