  ],
  "textContent": "Dell just released an announcement with information on all kinds of commercial PCs and notebooks in its upcoming lineup, but buried within that announcement is something that caught my eye: the Dell Pro 7 Rechargeable Compact Keyboard and Mouse.\n\nThis compact keyboard and mouse combo uses supercapacitor technology instead of traditional Lithium-ion, resulting in an astonishing new record for wireless peripheral battery performance.\n\nAccording to Dell, an insanely quick charge of just 5 seconds is enough to provide up to a full day’s use. Meanwhile, 5 minutes of charging brings both keyboard and mouse back up to full, with the keyboard lasting about 3 months and the mouse about 1.5 months.\n\nThe mouse is also described as “the world’s lightest non-Lithium-ion rechargeable mouse.”\n\nThe Dell Pro 7 Rechargeable Compact Keyboard and Mouse (model KM746) will launch in North America on April 16th.",
