Homeowners told to pay up to £14,000 to local council after illegally trespassing on land they thought were their back gardens

Locals living in Doncaster Grove, Long Eaton, Derbyshire, have been ordered to either buy or rent land they thought was their garden - or face having it seized by the local authority.
