Old Dominion University gunman ID’d as former National Guardsman convicted of plotting attack to support Islamic State

An ex-National guardsman fatally shot a retired military officer during a ROTC class at Old Dominion University on Thursday afternoon – and was taken out by a fearless student moments later.
