genuinely the highest-leverage effort for plyr.fm at this point is probably not even racing out ahead of atprotofans.com to allow more expressive content gating (though this is important as it makes it practical to cut out the distribution middle man and have listeners pay artists for their work directly, thus giving them any incentive at all to use plyr.fm besides the abstract moral promise of atproto) but actually the social effort of building relationships with artists/labels. similar to the whole discourse about importing the social graph, "atprotating existing fanbases" by getting artists w real followings to post B-sides on plyr.fm would be huge. time/life permitting, that's what im gonna be focused on
