Collider in RCT Subgroup Analysis

Food for thought. I understand your rationale and I see what you mean. Obviously, the subgroup designation as an effect modifier has to be justified by prior data or knowledge – and if you disagree with the rationale then obviously you disagree with the conclusion. But this is a different argument than your post- randomisation biomarker driven collider argument that is presented in the paper is it not?
