NTE Banners: Current Lacrimosa Board and Chaos Up Next (July 2026)

All Things How June 5, 2026
Source

Neverness to Everness rotates its gacha boards quickly, and Version 1.1 has two limited S-rank characters back to back. The Lacrimosa banner is running right now, and Chaos follows immediately after to finish the version. Hotori's board has already closed, so the current pull priority is set.

🎯

Quick answer: The active limited banner is Lacrimosa (Fading Reverie), live from June 3 to June 24, 2026. Chaos runs next, from June 24 to July 8, 2026.

Current NTE banner: Lacrimosa (Fading Reverie)

Lacrimosa is the featured S-rank on the limited Scarborough Fair board called Fading Reverie. She replaced Hotori once Version 1.1 went live, and her run lasts three weeks before Chaos takes over.

She is a Chaos-element damage dealer tied to the Enforcement Tactical Division. Her kit revolves around stacking Nightmare on enemies and detonating that buildup for burst damage, so she plays as sustained pressure with follow-up hits rather than a single big nuke. Players who went through the opening tutorial already controlled her briefly, since she was one of the trial characters during the intro cutscene.

Next NTE banner: Chaos

Chaos is the second limited character of Version 1.1 and arrives in the version's second phase. He is a member of ETD Squad 6 (ETD-6) and shows up in the main episode A Research in Scarlet, where Nelly introduces him during a Bureau of Anomaly Control case.

He is confirmed as an S-rank with the Lakshana element. His Arc type and combat role have not been disclosed yet, so plan resources around what is confirmed and check in-game once his board opens.

How NTE banners and pity work

The gacha system is called the Scarborough Fair. Instead of a single pull button, you roll dice and move across a board, collecting rewards from the tiles you land on. There are separate board types for characters and Arcs.

The most important thing to know across limited banners is that pity carries over. Progress you build on one limited board rolls directly into the next one, so partial pity from Hotori's banner counts toward Lacrimosa, and Lacrimosa's progress feeds into Chaos.

Board type Currency Pity Notes
Limited Board Solid Dice 90-pull hard pity No 50/50; the S-rank is always the featured character
Standard Board Annulith 90-pull hard pity Free S-rank selector after 50 pulls
Arc Research Program Tri-Keys 80-pull hard pity 50/50 exists; losing it still locks the featured Arc by 80

Past NTE banners

The game launched on April 29, 2026, so the banner history is short. Nanally opened the gacha rotation, followed by Hotori, whose board closed right before Version 1.1.

Upcoming and unconfirmed NTE characters

Several names have appeared through story episodes, trailers, and in-game references without a confirmed banner window. They may become playable in later updates, but no release schedule has been announced for any of them yet. Treat the list below as story appearances rather than dated banners.

📌

Elements, roles, and banner order for these unconfirmed characters have not been revealed. Nothing here is dated yet, so wait for an official announcement before saving specifically for any of them.

For now, the decision is straightforward. If you want a Chaos-element damage carry, Lacrimosa is the active board through June 24. If you would rather hold for the Lakshana S-rank, bank your pity, since it carries straight into Chaos when his banner opens on June 24.
