Lacrimosa Build for NTE: Best Arcs, Cartridge, and Team Setups
Lacrimosa is the S-Rank Chaos main DPS added to Neverness to Everness in the 1.1 update, and she carries fights by stacking a Nightmare damage-over-time effect that scales off her attack. She can also copy an enemy's combat technique, which makes her flexible enough to slot into several team shapes. The build below locks her in as a DoT carry inside a Discord composition.

Best Arcs for Lacrimosa
The Last Rose is her signature Arc and the clear first pick. It hands out a flat attack boost and feeds CRIT DMG every time she deals damage over time, then extends an enemy's Broken state when she hits them. The two alternatives trade some of that crit ceiling for raw attack uptime or faster Ultimate charging.

Best Cartridge: Diabolos set
Diabolos is built for Chaos carries, so it is the default armor set for Lacrimosa. The four-piece bonus shreds Chaos resistance, and because she lives inside Nova and Scorch reactions, she gets the full ignore value during her burst windows.

Module layout and stat priority
With Diabolos, run a Type II, two Type III, and a Type IV Module to satisfy the four-piece set, then use a Type III bonus Module for an extra 10% Chaos DMG. That totals roughly +40% Chaos DMG before substats. Because her Nightmare DoT scales off attack, do not neglect raw ATK while chasing crit.

Awakening order
Most of her Awakenings sharpen the Nightmare DoT loop. Tempered Glass Judgement is the top pick because it protects her DoT from being cleared by healing, restores her HP, and chips away the target's Max HP. After that, prioritize the nodes that raise Nightmare's damage ratio and duration.

Lacrimosa peaks in a DoT-focused Discord team, so pair her with Incantation supports and a Psyche unit to keep Nova, Scorch, and Discord cycling. The core build slots Sakiri as the priority buffer because she increases the DoT the team deals, Haniel as the Psyche representative for Nova application and team heals, and a final flex pick for Break or survivability.

Daffodill earns the flex slot when you want the Discord triple-cycle to land harder. Her Blade Draw lowers the enemy's Break cap, setting up a Broken-plus-Discord window. In that state, Lacrimosa's Tomato Banquet enhancement deals extra damage equal to 400% of her ATK against an already-Broken target.

Combat rotation
Step 1: Open with Haniel to buff the team, then swap to your Incantation support, ideally Sakiri, and apply their buffs.
Step 2: Build Cycle Energy with the support, then swap to Lacrimosa to trigger Scorch on entry.
Step 3: Cast her Skill, run her Basic Attack combo to its final hit to stack Nightmare, then fire her Ultimate when it is available.
Step 4: While Scorch is still active and her Cycle Energy is full, swap to a Psyche character to apply Nova, which triggers Discord, drops the enemy Break bar, and fires her Discord burst. Repeat the loop.
