"textContent": "The Marvel Super Heroes set brings four Commander precons to Magic: The Gathering, each built around a different corner of the Marvel roster. Every deck ships with two legendary leaders, a full 100 cards, and a theme that matches its characters. One deck breaks the pattern by handing you four possible commanders instead of two.\n\n🦸\n\nQuick answer: The four Marvel Super Heroes Commander precons are Avengers Assemble (White/Blue/Red), The Fantastic Four (White/Blue/Red/Green), Wakanda Forever (White/Green), and Doom Prevails (Blue/Black/Red). All four arrive in June 2026.\n\nImage credit: Wizards of the Coast\n\n* * *\n\n## All four Marvel Super Heroes Commander precons\n\nEach deck pairs a color identity with a mechanical theme drawn from its heroes or villains. The lineup spans aggressive equipment strategies, spell-heavy four-color builds, artifact ramp, and life-draining control.\n\nDeck| Colors| Theme| Main leaders\n---|---|---|---\nAvengers Assemble| White, Blue, Red| Equipment & counters, Heroes| Captain America, Team Leader; Director Nick Fury\nThe Fantastic Four| White, Blue, Red, Green| Noncreature spells, protection| Mister Fantastic; Invisible Woman; Human Torch; The Thing\nWakanda Forever| White, Green| Monarch, artifacts| T'Challa, the Black Panther; Shuri, the Black Panther\nDoom Prevails| Blue, Black, Red| Connive, life drain| Doctor Doom, King of Latveria; Loki, the Deceiver\n\n* * *\n\n## What's inside each precon\n\nThe contents are consistent across the four decks, with one exception for the Fantastic Four box. Every card, including the reprints, sits inside the Marvel Super Heroes universe, so there are no off-theme inclusions.\n\nComponent| Quantity\n---|---\nFoil borderless main commander| 1 (the Fantastic Four box contains 4)\nRegular cards| 98\nDouble-sided tokens| 10\nBrand-new cards in the 100| 30\nReprints in the 100| 70\n\n****Note:**** the two-card Collector Sample Pack that earlier Commander precons included is no longer part of these decks. It was discontinued and does not return for the Marvel Super Heroes precons.\n\nImage credit: Wizards of the Coast\n\n* * *\n\n## Avengers Assemble (White/Blue/Red)\n\nAvengers Assemble leans on Equipment and +1/+1 counters, with the Hero creature type tying the deck together. Both leaders reward you for filling the board with heroes.\n\n**Captain America, Team Leader** is a three-mana 3/3. Whenever a Hero creature you control enters, both that creature and Captain America get a +1/+1 counter, and the new creature gains vigilance and haste for the turn. That makes him strong for aggressive players who want to deploy heroes quickly and start attacking.\n\n**Director Nick Fury** reduces the cost of your Hero cards and adds card advantage. When you attack, you look at the top four cards of your library, take a Hero from among them into your hand, and put the rest on the bottom. He suits a slower, value-focused build within the Jeskai color identity.\n\nImage credit: Wizards of the Coast\n\n* * *\n\n## The Fantastic Four (White/Blue/Red/Green)\n\nThis is the four-color outlier. Instead of two leaders, you pick from all four members of Marvel's First Family, and the whole deck is built around casting noncreature spells. Each commander pays you off for those spells in a different way, so the build changes depending on who you put in the command zone.\n\nCommander| Combat payoff (noncreature spell)| RGWU attack ability\n---|---|---\nInvisible Woman| Creates a 0/3 Wall with defender and reach at the start of combat| A target creature gains +1/+0 for each creature you control and can't be blocked that turn\nMister Fantastic| Draw a card| Copy a target triggered ability you control twice; you may choose new targets\nHuman Torch| Gains flying, double strike, and haste for the turn| If paid, his combat damage to an opponent is also dealt to each other opponent\nThe Thing| Gets four +1/+1 counters and flying for the turn| If paid, double the number of each kind of counter on any number of your target permanents\n\nInvisible Woman builds defensive Walls while threatening one large unblockable attacker. Mister Fantastic leans on card advantage and ability copying. Human Torch and The Thing both work well as Voltron-style commanders that you load up and swing with.\n\nℹ️\n\nA separate Fantastic Four card exists outside the precon as a Jumpstart card, not a fifth deck leader. The four commanders above are the only options for leading this deck.\n\nImage credit: Wizards of the Coast\n\n* * *\n\n## Wakanda Forever (White/Green)\n\nWakanda Forever uses the Monarch mechanic alongside artifacts that represent Vibranium. The Monarch lets you draw an extra card each turn and adds a small mini-game over who holds the crown. It's an unusual artifact deck given the White/Green identity, which is not typically associated with artifact synergies.\n\n**T'Challa, the Black Panther** creates Vibranium tokens when he enters and when he attacks. Those tokens tap for colorless mana that can only pay for artifact spells. Whenever you cast an artifact spell with mana value 4 or higher, T'Challa gains two +1/+1 counters. At three mana, he provides ramp on every attack and grows quickly, and flickering him generates even more artifact tokens.\n\n**Shuri, the Black Panther** has lifelink. When she attacks, you draw a card if you control three or more artifacts, and if you control six or more artifacts, your creatures get +2/+2 until end of turn. She needs a developed artifact board to shine and often performs better in the 99 than as the main commander.\n\nImage credit: Wizards of the Coast\n\n* * *\n\n## Doom Prevails (Blue/Black/Red)\n\nDoom Prevails centers on the Villain creature type that debuted in the Spider-Man set, plus connive and life drain. The connive mechanic lets you draw a card, then discard a card, and rewards you for pitching nonland cards.\n\n**Doctor Doom, King of Latveria** punishes you for discarding lands by making opponents lose 2 life, which can add up fast with a repeatable looting engine. On your combat, he can grant a Villain menace and triggers connive, adding a +1/+1 counter if you discarded a nonland. With the right shell, the life-loss line can deal large chunks of damage quickly, and he also works as a casual value play paired with other villains.\n\n**Loki, the Deceiver** takes a different route. When he attacks, you create a tapped, attacking token copy of a Villain you control as an Illusion that is sacrificed at your next end step. Whenever one or more Villains you control deal combat damage to a player, you draw a card. His payoff depends heavily on which villains you have to copy.\n\nImage credit: Wizards of the Coast\n\n* * *\n\n## Release window and decklist reveals\n\nAll four Commander precons launch in June 2026 alongside the Marvel Super Heroes set. The full 100-card decklists are being revealed across June 8–11, with one decklist published per day, so the complete contents fill in as that window plays out.\n\nIf you're deciding between the decks, match the color identity and theme to how you like to play. Avengers Assemble suits aggressive Equipment and counters builds, The Fantastic Four rewards spell-heavy four-color decks, Wakanda Forever combines Monarch with artifact ramp, and Doom Prevails leans on connive and draining the table.",
