Unlock The Strongest of Today in Kaizen (Gojo V2)

All Things How May 31, 2026

The Strongest of Today is the first upgraded Cursed Technique in Kaizen, built straight on top of Limitless. You cannot buy it on its own. You first own Limitless, then spend a second round of materials and Yen to turn it into the Gojo V2 technique. Both stages funnel you toward the same farming spot, the Shinjuku Raid, so most of your late-game time goes there.

Quick answer: Get the Limitless Cursed Technique first (1,500,250 Yen plus cores and 6 Six Eyes Essence), then return to the Curse Shop and pay 4,000,000 Yen with 35 Infinity Glass and 10 Limitless Alloy to upgrade it into The Strongest of Today.

The Strongest of Today in the Curse Shop.

Unlock Limitless first (hard requirement)

Limitless is a gate, not a shortcut. Until it sits in your inventory, the upgrade option for The Strongest of Today will not appear in the Curse Shop. You buy Limitless for 1,500,250 Yen once you have gathered every material below. Most of your time here goes into the Gojo World Boss, since Six Eyes Essence drops nowhere else.

Material Amount Where it comes from
Grade 2 Core 50 General enemy drops
Grade 1 Core 30 General enemy drops
Special Grade Core 5 Higher-level enemies
Six Eyes Essence 6 Gojo World Boss only
Yen 1,500,250 Farming enemies

Upgrade to The Strongest of Today

With Limitless owned, head back to the same Curse Shop and pick the upgrade. The cost is 4,000,000 Yen plus the two raid materials. Infinity Glass and Limitless Alloy both drop in the Shinjuku Raid on any difficulty, so you are not forced into the hardest mode to finish the grind.

Requirement Amount Where it comes from
Limitless CT 1 Must already be unlocked
Infinity Glass 35 Shinjuku Raid (any difficulty)
Limitless Alloy 10 Shinjuku Raid (any difficulty)
Yen 4,000,000 Farming enemies

You know the upgrade worked when The Strongest of Today replaces Limitless in your equipped technique slot and the Curse Shop no longer offers the upgrade. If the option is greyed out, it is almost always because Limitless is not in your inventory yet, or you are short on Yen, Infinity Glass, or Limitless Alloy.

Farm the Shinjuku Raid for upgrade materials

The Shinjuku Raid is the engine for everything past Limitless. Normal difficulty needs at least Level 450 to enter, and harder modes scale up from there. Since both upgrade materials drop on every difficulty, run whatever mode your build clears consistently and repeat.

Shinjuku Raid on Normal difficulty.

Every clear hands you Yen as a guaranteed reward. The drop rates below are based on Normal difficulty.

Drop Type Drop rate
Yen Always 100%
Infinity Glass Material 23%
Limitless Alloy Material 8.5%
Domain Shard Material 1%
Gojo Top Equipment 7%
Gojo Robe Equipment 1.5%
Gojo Bottom Equipment 1.5%

Hold onto every Domain Shard you find. They are needed later to unlock the Domain Expansion, and they only trickle in at a 1% rate, so do not spend them on anything else.

The Strongest of Today moveset

The kit upgrades the Red, Blue, and Purple set from Limitless, with each skill gated behind a mastery level. You earn access as your technique levels up through use.

Move Mastery Effect
Lapse Barrage 0 Throws a blue energy ball that explodes on contact, dealing proximity damage
Red Rebound (Hold: Maximum Red) 20 Fires a Red blast in a straight line; holding it charges Maximum Red for much higher damage
Max Blue Barrage 65 Sends you airborne and spawns multiple blue balls that auto-target grounded enemies for AoE damage
Hollow Nuke 90 Plays a cutscene as you rise, fuse large balls into Purple, and slam it down for wide AoE damage
0.2 Second Infinite Void (Hold: Unlimited Void) 125 Opens the Domain Expansion for rapid repeated damage; holding it switches to Unlimited Void for more damage and range

Unlock the Unlimited Void Domain Expansion

Reaching Mastery Level 125 only makes you eligible. The 0.2 Second Infinite Void stays locked until you complete one more exchange. Speak with Hakaze inside Jujutsu Tech and hand over 10 Domain Shards. Once that trade is done, the move becomes usable.

The convenient part is that Domain Shards drop from the same Shinjuku Raid runs you use for Infinity Glass and Limitless Alloy. Bank them as you farm, and by the time you hit Level 125 you should be close to having all ten ready for Hakaze.

With Limitless secured, the upgrade paid for, and Domain Shards saved, The Strongest of Today goes from a long material grind to a fully kitted Gojo V2 technique, capped by the Unlimited Void domain once you finish the Jujutsu Tech handover.
