Neverness to Everness Outfits and Gliders - Full Cosmetic Unlock List

All Things How May 1, 2026
Source

Neverness to Everness ships with a cosmetic layer that sits entirely outside the gacha system. Outfits swap a character's appearance, gliders change the look of your aerial traversal tool, and neither touches stats, skill numbers, or kit behavior. Some pieces drop from story content, others come from bond progression, and the rest sit behind Riftcrystals or Fons in the in-game Fashion Shop.

Quick answer: Default outfits and the Skycurrent glider unlock automatically. Paid skins use Riftcrystals or Fons in the Mall's Fashion Shop, bond skins require Bond Level 10 with the matching character, and the rest come from story missions, exploration rewards, or the Scarborough Fair gacha.

How the cosmetic system works

Outfits are tied to specific Espers and equipped from the character menu. Once unlocked, a skin stays in your inventory permanently and can be swapped at any time outside combat. A small set of outfits change visible skill VFX (such as Nanally's The Popular Kid), but damage, cooldowns, and animations frames remain identical to the default.

Gliders are account-wide and selected separately from the traversal menu. Aurelia is the exception: her Skycurrent glider is locked to her and unlocks by default when she joins your roster.

Riftcrystals are the premium currency. They convert 1:1 to Annulith for pulls, but spending them on cosmetics is a one-way transaction with no gameplay value attached.

Acquisition paths in plain terms

Five channels feed the cosmetic system, and most outfits use only one of them. Knowing which channel applies to a skin you want decides whether you save Riftcrystals, grind a story arc, or push a bond level.

Path What it covers Cost
Fashion Shop (Riftcrystals) Premium skins like The Popular Kid, Verdant Grace, City Glimmer 980โ€“2,480 Riftcrystals
Fashion Shop (Fons) In-game currency skins such as To Mary, Reverse Fairy Tale, Pumpkin Magic 1.5Mโ€“3M Fons
Bond Level 10 One reward skin per supported character (Mint, Nanally, Fadia, Jiuyuan, Chiz) Free, time-gated
Story / event Hunter Off Duty, Unconventional Attire, Zero-G Gag, Wayward Fish Streamer Free with completion
Scarborough Fair (limited banner) Phoenix Kick, Underboss-of-the-underboss, 200-pull milestone outfits Pulls / pity

Pricing notes for paid skins

The standard price band for a full premium outfit is 2,480 Riftcrystals, with a launch-discount window dropping featured skins to 1,680 Riftcrystals. That's roughly a 32% reduction, and the discount only repeats on rerun cycles. Lower-tier skins such as School Musings and City Glimmer are priced at 980 Riftcrystals and also accept 3,000,000 Fons as an alternative payment.

The 200-pull cosmetic milestone on a Limited Board awards the featured character's outfit for free. Progress is tracked per banner and persists across reruns, so partial pity carries forward if you skip a rerun and return later.

Buying a character-specific outfit before you own the character will leave it sitting unequippable in your inventory. Confirm the Esper is unlocked before spending Riftcrystals.

Equipping outfits and gliders

Step 1: Open the character menu and select the Esper you want to restyle. The default appearance is always available as a free option.

Step 2: Switch to the Outfit tab. Owned skins appear in the grid; the currently equipped one shows a small badge in the top-right corner of its tile.

Step 3: Tap the desired outfit to apply it. The change is immediate and persists across missions, banners, and patches until you swap again.

Gliders work the same way from the traversal/cosmetics menu, with the exception that Aurelia's Skycurrent cannot be assigned to other characters.

What to prioritize

If you're free-to-play, the cheapest path to a full skin is bond progression. Reaching Bond Level 10 with Mint, Nanally, Fadia, Jiuyuan, or Chiz costs nothing beyond regular play and yields a permanent outfit each. Story content covers another tier โ€” Pink Paws Heist alone unlocks both Esper Zero's Hunter Off Duty and the Zero-G Gag glider in a single arc.

For paid purchases, wait out the launch discount window before buying a featured premium outfit. The 800-Riftcrystal gap between launch and standard pricing is the biggest single saving in the cosmetic system. If you're already pulling on a limited banner, the 200-pull milestone effectively bundles the outfit into the cost of chasing the character.

Expect this catalog to grow with patches โ€” new banners typically introduce a new featured outfit, and seasonal events add story-locked skins that won't return to the shop until their original window reruns.
