Fisch's second annual Easter event is live now, running from April 4th through April 18th, 2026. The Egg Hunt scatters 25 collectible eggs across the entire map — from easy grabs at Moosewood's docks to nightmare-tier spawns that require specific weather events, boss hunts, or catching a rare fish within a 30-second window. Collecting all of them unlocks the Bunnybloom Caster rod, and a bonus boat reward awaits anyone willing to go even further.
Quick answer: Equip the Easter Basket from your inventory, collect eggs across the map, then talk to the Bloom Bunny NPC at Easter Cove (northwest of Moosewood) to claim milestone rewards at 5, 10, 20, and 25 eggs. A fifth reward requires catching and returning a Basketback Tortoise.

How Egg Collecting Works
When you log in during the event, an Easter Basket appears in your inventory. You must equip it to your hotbar before you can pick up any eggs — walking over an egg without the basket equipped does nothing. Once the basket is active, simply approach an egg and interact with it. Each egg you collect also gives you free Marshmallow Chicks bait. Dying does not reset your collected eggs, so you can gather them across multiple sessions without worry.
To check your progress or claim rewards, head to Easter Cove. The island sits behind Moosewood to the northwest, with a pier on its right side near the Shipwright. Talk to the Bloom Bunny NPC there to open the Egg Hunt menu.

Egg Hunt Milestone Rewards
Rewards are claimed from the Bloom Bunny NPC at Easter Cove. You unlock them progressively as your total egg count rises.

How to Unlock the Basketback Tortoise Boat
The fifth reward goes beyond simple egg collecting. After gathering all 25 eggs, you need to place each one on its corresponding pedestal scattered around Easter Cove. This triggers the Basketback Tortoise Hunt, a 20-minute fishing window at Easter Cove.
During the hunt, fish at Easter Cove using Marshmallow Chicks bait during clear weather and daytime in the Spring season. If you catch a Basketback Tortoise, return it to the Bloom Bunny to receive the Basketback Tortoise Boat. The hunt does not end early if someone catches one, so the full 20 minutes remain available.
