Where to Find the Bank and What You Need

The first Bank you can access is on the north side of Hernand. Banks also exist in most major settlements across Pywel, and opening an account at one gives you access to every Bank in the game world. You need two things before you can invest:

Investment Strategies and Expected Returns

Once your Gold Bar is deposited, you choose one of three investment strategies. Each carries a different risk-reward profile, and you can switch between them every 15 in-game days.

High-risk is the recommended pick. A 50–55% return on a 500 Silver Gold Bar is substantial, and the downside — losing the bar entirely — can be completely avoided through save manipulation. Medium-risk is a reasonable fallback if you'd rather not bother with reloading, since 15–20% gains with lower volatility still compound nicely over time.

Save Scumming for Risk-Free High Returns

Investment payouts in Crimson Desert are not predetermined. Every time you load a save file, the game rolls a new result for your dividend. This is the core exploit that turns the high-risk strategy into a guaranteed moneymaker.

Step 1: After depositing your Gold Bar and selecting the high-risk strategy, note the "next refresh time" displayed on the bank screen. This is the countdown until your dividend is calculated.

Step 2: Create a manual save shortly before the refresh timer expires. Aim to save within a few in-game minutes of the payout.

Step 3: Wait for the timer to reach zero. The bank screen will briefly display "refreshing" for about a minute before showing your results.

Step 4: Open the "Previous Investments" tab to check your return. If you made a profit, withdraw your Silver and reinvest. If you lost money, reload the manual save you created in Step 2 and wait for the timer again. The result will be different.

Step 5: Repeat the reload cycle until you land a favorable payout. Once you're satisfied, save again and continue playing.

Dividends and losses stay in the bank until you manually withdraw them. Always check back and pull out your Silver before the next three-day refresh cycle, or you risk forgetting and leaving profits sitting idle.

Speeding Up the Wait Between Payouts

The dividend refresh cycle takes roughly three in-game days. Since each in-game hour equals five real-time minutes, that can mean a long wait if you're just standing around. Fortunately, the sleep mechanic lets you skip large chunks of time.

Sleeping in a bed or resting near a bonfire advances the clock by 12 hours. There is a cooldown, though — you need to wait at least 10 in-game hours (about 50 real-time minutes) between each rest. By alternating between resting and doing other activities like quests or trading, you can reach the next payout window without burning too much real-world time.
