Every Nioh 3 Trophy and Achievement — Full List With Unlock Conditions

All Things How February 6, 2026
Source

Nioh 3 has 51 PlayStation trophies (50 achievements on PC) spread across a completionist run of Team Ninja's punishing action RPG. Earning the Platinum requires story completion, full collectible sweeps across every region, leveling to 100, and clearing a handful of specific side-mission objectives. None of the trophies are missable, so you can clean everything up in a single playthrough.

Quick answer: There are 51 trophies total — 1 Platinum, 2 Gold, 10 Silver, and 38 Bronze. Nineteen of those are hidden and tied to story progression or specific in-mission tasks. No trophies can be permanently missed.

Rarity Count
Platinum 1
Gold 2
Silver 10
Bronze 38
Total 51

The Platinum difficulty sits around 7/10 for experienced Soulslike players. Newcomers should expect something closer to an 8 or 9 out of 10, largely because of the demanding boss fights and the sheer volume of collectibles — roughly 460 are needed for trophies, even though the game contains over 1,000 total.

Unlock every other trophy in the list. There is no shortcut; you need full story completion, every collectible category finished, and all miscellaneous objectives cleared.

Gold trophies

Trophy How to unlock
Answering to the People Complete all Myths (side missions).
As Shogun (hidden) Get appointed the third shogun of the Edo Shogunate. This unlocks through the main story ending.

Silver trophies

Trophy How to unlock
Devotee Unlock all named shrines and Bodhisattva Statues.
A God Among Men Defeat all masters.
Eagle-Eyed Pet all Chijiko.
Kodama Leader Guide all Kodama home.
Visiting the Six Jizo Pray at all of the Six Jizo.
Scampuss Enthusiast Pet all Scampusses.
Total Control Capture all enemy bases.
Lesser Crucible Eradicator Purify all Lesser Crucibles.
Spa Lover (hidden) Bathe in every hot spring.
Dung Ball Roller (hidden) Help Tatsumaro the Dung Lover connect with Takechiyo.

Most Silver trophies revolve around collectible completion. The game's mini-map reveals nearby items once you reach Exploration Level 4 in a given area, which makes tracking down the last few Kodama or Chijiko much easier. Raising that exploration level in at least one area also nets you the Bronze Explorer trophy.

You can reveal their names early by selecting a hidden trophy in the list and pressing Square (▢) to show hidden information. Trophies that need extra attention

While nothing is permanently missable, a few trophies require deliberate effort beyond simply clearing every map marker.

Distant Memories involves a two-part trigger across separate missions. You first need to bathe with Himiko during the "Dark Roots" mission, then revisit the hot spring memory in "Apparition of Ryotan Temple." If you rush through either mission without interacting with the hot spring, you'll need to replay it.

Ruckus in the Sanctuary asks you to clear all crows from Matsuo-taisha Shrine before fighting Otoroshi in "Black Feather Sanctuary." Missing even one crow means the trophy won't pop after the boss dies. Sweep the entire shrine area carefully before engaging.

Pain, Pain, Go Away requires a flawless defensive performance against Murakumo in "A Sinister End" — you must repel every single attack. Getting hit once voids the attempt for that run of the mission.

Armor's Real Value needs a full equipment set with all set bonus tiers active. You'll likely need to farm or forge specific pieces, since random loot drops rarely hand you a complete set early on. Check the blacksmith's Smithing Text inventory to craft missing pieces once you've found the relevant texts.

Efficient path to the Platinum

Play through the entire story while exploring each region thoroughly enough to hit Exploration Level 4. This naturally reveals collectible locations on the mini-map and gets you close to the Silver trophies for shrines, Kodama, Chijiko, Scampusses, Six Jizo, enemy bases, and Lesser Crucibles. Complete every Myth (side mission) as it becomes available to avoid a long cleanup phase at the end.

Reaching level 100 happens organically during a completionist run. If you're short on Amrita near the end, farming higher-level missions or using spirit stones to fuel your Living Weapon gauge during boss fights can speed things up. Stats can be respecced freely at the level-up screen, so don't worry about early allocation mistakes.

Co-op makes tough bosses significantly easier without scaling enemy health, and NPC Acolytes count toward the Teamwork trophy. Summoning help is a legitimate and efficient strategy for keeping your Platinum run moving.
