Waldport’s big Beachcomber Festival returns for 70th year and three-day schedule beginning Friday

It's about time for a little fun in Waldport. The 70th annual Beachcomber Festival kicks off its three-day run Friday with a proclamation at city hall and then loads of activities, shows, food, music and fun for people of all ages throughout downtown Waldport -- including a big, colorful parade at noon Saturday.
