✦ Refrakt: 43 — Cowboys

I just finished writing a new short story. For right now, I’m calling it “Cowboys.” Despite the title, it is not a Western in any way, shape, or form. I feel as if I haven’t been writing as much as I wanted to this year so far in terms of wordcount, but I’ve written three or four short stories I feel good about while I let my novel manuscript simmer, so can’t be too hard on myself. The goal of this blog is mainly to talk about my path towards being an artist, but it’s been a minute since I’ve written about writing, so let’s fix that.
