At DePaul University in Lincoln Park, a small alcove can be found off the east side of the Quad between the John T. Richardson Library and the Schmidt Academic Center. This alcove is called St. Vincent's circle, but most students refer to it as "Vinny's Circle".
The alcove houses a bronze statue of St. Vincent De Paul sitting and engaging in lively conversation with two bronze DePaul students.
A stone circle is set before the statues; DePaul University's logo rests in the middle, surrounded by the words: COMMUNION, DIGNITY, EDUCATION. Because of how the two buildings around the alcove are set up, three quarters of it are closed off. If one stands on top of the university logo and speaks, they'll hear their voices echo off of the walls of DePaul's campus.
Local Campus Lore often sees students visit the location at night, yelling out their wishes into the echo chamber. It's said that they may come true.
