"textContent": "This 700+ seat, all-marble, classical-styled open-air amphitheater was opened in the fall of 2025 at the Center for Hellenic Studies \"paideia\" at the campus of the University of Connecticut.\n\nTucked away just behind the ultra-modern facades of downtown Storrs is this scene from ancient Greece, complete with the tall white columns and pristine marble seats.\n\nThe theater was a lifelong dream of the center’s presdent and founder, Ilias Tomazos, and was in the works for over 20 years. and expected to be finaliized soon.
