"textContent": "A gothic style Catholic church in the middle of the Canadian prairies! That's not an everyday view at all. With red brick, stained glass, and a towering steeple, this church would be more at home in Europe, but here it is, in the middle of farmland.\n\nBuilt first as a more permanent replacement to an overcrowded wooden church in 1922, it was designed with distinctive Gothic characteristics; nave, side aisles, transept, apse, stained glass windows, rose window, dome, lantern and spire.\n\nWhile all these parts are Gothic, it has many interesting elements all together, such as a dome is done in the more typical German Baroque style, Doric columns, and a Maltese cross stained glass window.",
