[archive] smartphones are useless for me

I've realized that I've been using my laptop very frequently than my phone. Surely, I do need my phone for calling, texting, having this mandatory for state app called Дія (Diia), but for most tasks like gaming and browsing the web, I use my laptop.

I kinda wish I could have a dumbphone because for me, having a smartphone makes no sense if I barely do anything other than calling and texting. Sidephone seems like a very cool project and I like how you can change keyboards easily.

EDIT (24/05/2025): Forgot to tell you this but two months ago I bought the 2023 Nokia 130. The phone itself is just like an average Chinese dumbphone and it doesn't have the charm from Nokia that we all know and love.

I mostly use this phone for emergency purposes, more specifically in cases when I forget to charge my main phone.
