Elves that aren’t agelessly beautiful, but rather shivel and mummify while growing ever more magically powerful; an extreme form of asceticism. The leader of any particularly powerful clan looks ike a gnarled tree root: unable to move or speak, sustained by ambient mana, communicating through telepathy, and the strongest can warp local reality through will alone.
