May Gear Social | bootblack’s eye view

So I have taken a bit of a break from bootblacking in the last 2 months. I find this is helpful to do from time to time. It is a lot of work and because I do it mostly at social events, and It's nice to be able to actually go to just socialize for a while. It's been interesting as I definitely find my ability to tolerate the loud environments goes down without the focus bootblacking provides, and I know of a few other autistic bootblacks who say the same. I was also able to break out my leather shorts! They are my favourite bit of leather gear and very handy.
