Insta360's GO 3S motorcycle bundle puts a 39g camera inside your helmet

Every so often, I get sucked into FPV motorcycle content on Instagram. I'm not sure why – I don't own a motorcycle, never indicated I would like a motorcycle, and definitely have no intention of buying one. But the footage is still pretty cool.

Insta360 obviously agrees, with the launch of the GO 3S Motorcycle In-Helmet POV Bundle.

The bundle pairs the GO 3S with a purpose-built In-Helmet POV Mount and a Mic Wind Muff, all in a special edition gift box with track-inspired packaging.

The GO 3S itself weighs just 39g, small enough to sit inside a helmet without throwing off its balance or fit.

Positioning the camera there lines the shot up with the rider's natural line of sight, giving the kind of immersive first-person perspective that external chin or forehead mounts can't quite replicate.

Motorcycle footage is notoriously wind-noise-heavy, and the in-helmet placement combined with the bundled wind muff helps preserve the actual sound of the engine and the atmosphere of the ride.

Seven-time MotoGP champion Marc Márquez is the face of the bundle and uses this exact setup to capture and share his own riding content. Insta360 has been busy rolling out new products lately_, and this one carries some serious endorsement weight. "This bundle makes it easy to get the in-helmet POV that I love. It's a clean, immersive way to share a ride, exactly as it feels on the bike," Márquez said._

The GO 3S shoots 4K video with FlowState stabilisation and 360 Horizon Lock, keeping footage smooth through bumps and vibrations on the road. Battery life is the camera's main limitation, but it's less of an issue here.

On its own, the GO 3S manages around 38 minutes of recording. Paired with the Action Pod (the magnetic charging case with a 2.2-inch flip touchscreen), that extends to 140 minutes, which is a lot more workable for a proper ride.

The Action Pod also lets you preview footage and adjust settings without pulling the camera out of your helmet, which is nice and practical for riders.

For riders who want more than just raw footage, the Insta360 app supports Data Dashboard overlays with speed, distance, and altitude data.

It pulls from Garmin, COROS, and Apple Watch too. There's also a Motion ND feature that adds cinematic motion blur in post without needing a physical filter, and AI editing tools that can automatically cut highlights, add music, and produce a share-ready edit quickly.
