"textContent": "The original Ninja SLUSHi was a game-changing appliance for the Australian summer. It made refreshing frozen drinks on command, with the only real downside being the unit's sheer bulk and finding somewhere to store it.\n\nNinja has leant into the bulk part for the SLUSHi's sequel, increasing capacity and improving performance across the board.\n\nThe new Ninja SLUSHi Max (FS605BLANZ) bumps the vessel up to a 4.4-litre XL party-size tank, which Ninja says can produce 12 or more servings in a single batch. That's going to make the kids parties easier to manage and New Year's Eve a little messier.\n\n## Smarter slushing\n\nThe Max features a new SlushAssist Technology, which senses what you've poured in and automatically adjusts the temperature to get the slush right. That means you no longer have to fiddle with settings to get things right.\n\nIt also handles higher-alcohol recipes and low-sugar drinks better than the original SLUSHi, which broadens the range of what you can actually make. It also makes failure easier to avoid, which is probably the bigger advantage here to be honest.\n\nThe other key upgrade is RapidChill Pro Technology, which gets the machine to extra-cold temperatures faster than the previous model.\n\nYou pour in your liquid, skip the ice and blending entirely, and it does the rest. Once you've made your slush, the WhisperChill compressor quietly holds it at the right texture and temperature for up to 12 hours.\n\nSix preset programs cover the most common frozen drink styles, and 15 temperature control settings let you dial in thickness to your preference.\n\n## Specs at a glance\n\nFeature| Detail\n---|---\nModel| FS605BLANZ\nVessel capacity| 4.4L (up to 3.3L max liquid fill)\nServings per batch| 12+\nPrograms| 6\nTemperature settings| 15\nKeep-cool duration| Up to 12 hours\nCleanup| Dishwasher-safe parts, Rinse Cycle\nKey technologies| SlushAssist, RapidChill Pro, WhisperChill compressor\n\nGiven how popular the original SLUSHi was when it launched here, and the buzz it generated, the Max has a lot to live up to. On paper, the upgrades are exactly what people asked for.\n\n## Pricing and availability\n\nThe Ninja SLUSHi Max (FS605BLANZ) will be available from 20 April 2025 for an RRP of $599.99.\n\nIn addition to the Max, Ninja is also launching new colour variants of the original SLUSHi: Frosé pink and Margarita green.\n\n### Latest kitchen appliance deals",
