"textContent": "When you think about it, Ninja is a bit of a weird name for an appliance brand that continues to release big, bold kitchen appliances that go repeatedly viral on social media.\n\nThere's the Ninja Swirl by Creami ice cream maker, the Slushi frozen drink maker, and the Luxe Café, and the versatile Ninja Combi all of which are clear leaders in their categories. Shouldn't a brand called Ninja sneak around in the shadows?\n\nIn any case, the brand's next big (or little, as it were) appliance is the CRISPi, a 4-in-1 portable air fryer with a glass bowl that lets you watch your meal cook in real time.\n\nThe Ninja Crispi is compact for an air fryer. But with 1700W of power, it has everything you need to cook your meals.\n\nIt can handle everything from quick solo dinners to generous share plates, and can take ingredients from frozen to crispy in just minutes. The design is clearly made for modern living situations where bench space is at a premium.\n\nWhat sets the Crispi apart from other air fryers is its CleanCrisp glassware system. This is a first-of-its-kind design that lets you actually see every golden bubble and sizzling edge as your food cooks.\n\nThe glass containers are sleek, stackable and shock-resistant, which means they can go from freezer to fryer to table with ease.\n\nThe system works by having you add your ingredients to the glass container, clip on the PowerPod unit, and watch it all happen. When you're done, you simply unclip it and either pack your bag or serve straight to the table.\n\nThe Ninja Crispi comes with the PowerPod, two CleanCrisp glass containers (3.8L and 1.4L), a removable adaptor, two storage lids and crisper plates. The smaller 1.4L container is perfect for single-serve meals, while the larger 3.8L can handle a 1.2kg chicken with veggies.\n\nIt offers four cooking modes: Air Fry, Roast, Re-crisp, and Keep Warm, which should cover most of your cooking needs. And because it's using glass containers rather than traditional air fryer baskets, cleanup should be much easier, especially given you can just pop them in the dishwasher.\n\n## Pricing and availability\n\nThe Ninja Crispi is available now for an RRP of $299.99.\n\nConsidering how the FlexDrawer XXXL air fryer changed my cooking habits when I reviewed it, I expect the CRISPi is just as impressive in the kitchen.\n\n### Latest air fryer deals\n\n* * *",
