"textContent": "Samsung isn't a company that sits back and waits for the competition to outdo them, so it's no surprise that the company is launching some big updates to its Bespoke lineup of AI-powered appliances.\n\nAt CES 2026 in Las Vegas, Samsung is showcasing a refreshed range of home appliances that lean heavily into AI-powered personalisation.\n\nThe headline acts include an upgraded Bespoke AI Laundry Combo, a new WindFree Pro Air Conditioner, and the Bespoke AI Jet Bot Ultra robot vacuum, all designed to work together through Samsung's SmartThings ecosystem.\n\n## Laundry that actually finishes faster\n\nTo start with, Samsung has upgraded Bespoke AI Laundry Combo, which Samsung claims will complete wash-to-dry cycles even faster than the 2024 model.\n\nThe new version uses a high-pressure Speed Spray system to enhance detergent penetration and rinsing, while a new Booster Heat Exchanger addresses one of the biggest complaints about combo units: inadequate drying performance.\n\nThere's also an Auto Open Door+ feature that opens the door and activates air circulation after wash-only cycles, which should help prevent that musty smell that develops when you forget about your laundry for a few hours.\n\nThe AI Wash & Dry+ function uses multiple sensors to detect fabric types – including outdoor gear and denim – and adjusts water, detergent, and soil monitoring in real time. Samsung is also introducing a more affordable variant with a 2.8-inch LCD screen and jog dial, alongside the original 7-inch touchscreen model.\n\n## The AirDresser gets an upgrade too\n\nSamsung's Bespoke AI AirDresser, which refreshes clothes without a full wash, is getting its first major update in three years. The new Auto Wrinkle Care function uses an enhanced Dual AirWash and Dual JetSteam system to smooth out wrinkles quickly.\n\nWhat's clever is the Auto Cycle Link feature that connects the AirDresser with the Laundry Combo. When a wash cycle finishes, the AirDresser automatically recommends an appropriate drying course. For special care cycles like the Blouse Cycle, it'll queue up the same setting on the AirDresser without any manual input.\n\n## WindFree cooling gets more customisable\n\nThe new Bespoke AI WindFree Pro Air Conditioner addresses what Samsung says is the key factor in customer purchasing decisions: wind modes. Instead of a single blade, it now has three blades that can direct airflow in multiple directions.\n\nThis allows for seven different wind modes, including Max Wind for faster cooling, Surround Wind for even distribution, and Long Reach Wind to push cool air further across the room. The radar-based AI Direct and Indirect Wind modes can sense when you're in the room and automatically adjust airflow to keep you comfortable without blasting you directly.\n\nThe AI Fast & Comfort Cooling function analyses temperature, humidity, and room size to optimise cooling automatically, while AI Energy Mode monitors usage patterns and external conditions to reduce compressor fluctuations and save energy.\n\n## A robot vacuum that recognises spills\n\nThe Bespoke AI Jet Bot Ultra is Samsung's new flagship robot vacuum, building on the Bespoke Jet Bot Combo AI. The new model is powered by a Qualcomm Dragonwing processor, and uses deep learning-based AI Object Recognition to detect people, cats, dogs, and obstacles like cables or rugs.\n\nThe new feature Samsung is talking up here is AI Liquid Recognition, which allows the vacuum to detect spills and either clean them up or avoid them based on your preferences.\n\nThe upgraded Easy Pass Wheel technology can raise the body and lower the wheels to climb thresholds up to 60mm high, which should help it navigate between rooms more easily.\n\n## Australian availability\n\nSamsung has confirmed all four products will be available in Australia in 2026, but hasn't announced pricing or specific launch timing yet. Given Samsung's track record with Bespoke appliances in Australia, I'd expect them to arrive a few months after the US launch.\n\nPricing, as you might expect, is still TBC.\n\n### Latest laundry & cleaning deals",
