It appears that Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Remake (or Resynced, as it may now be called) could be officially announced today. The game was spotted listed on the Ubisoft launcher, indicating that the long-awaited announcement is imminent.

Reports released in early April stated that the announcement was planned for April 16, with 'mid-April' being frequently mentioned within the company. While there is no official confirmation yet, this new activity on the launcher significantly increases the likelihood that the leaks are accurate.

Edward Kenway Returns with a Brand New Costume

According to leaks on Reddit, the visual prepared for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced shows Edward Kenway in a stylish black and gold costume. The listing, which was quickly removed, included the phrase, 'Set sail for the Caribbean. (Re)play this classic pirate adventure from day one with Ubisoft+ Premium.'

Ubisoft’s recent restructuring process had many players worried about the project's future. However, developers confirmed that the game is actively in development. As we previously mentioned in our news regarding Assassin’s Creed Black Flag remake details, one of the series' most beloved installments is preparing to return with modern graphics.

While it remains a mystery when and where the official announcement will be made, a launcher leak is usually the biggest sign that the game will be revealed very soon. We are keeping an eye out for the official statement from Ubisoft.
