Xbox is making a radical change to the Achievements system, offering new visuals, ease-of-use improvements, and more. Xbox Insider users can start testing these features starting today.

It has been a while since we saw new features being tested in the Xbox Insider program. In the past period, innovations such as groups on the home screen, custom colors, and the ability to disable the Quick Resume feature were tested by a limited group of players. Now, the latest update brings a massive revision to the look and functionality of Xbox Achievements.

Xbox Insider Users are Testing the Innovations

A new Xbox Wire post details all the improvements made to the Achievements system. Firstly, the look and feel of the system has completely changed with updated icons and animations for rare and classic achievements. Additionally, these notifications will be compatible with the custom colors chosen by players introduced in the previous Insider update.

A newly added feature allows players to hide any game from their Achievement history. However, players should keep in mind that this process only affects the profile's appearance; hidden games will continue to be included in the player's total Gamerscore.

Another innovation for Xbox Achievements is the feature to highlight games you have 100% completed. Players will also find new filtering options in this view to better manage their achievements.

These new improvements have been made available to selected Xbox Insider users starting today, allowing them to begin testing the updates immediately. These features, which will be opened to more Insider users over time, are expected to be released for general use by all players in the future.

On the other hand, price and release date details for limited edition Forza Horizon 6 Xbox accessories surfaced recently. Additionally, the first wave of the April Game Pass games list has been announced, and the library is overflowing with ambitious titles. So, what do you think about these new improvements for Xbox Achievements?
