Starfield Will Offer Advanced Graphics Exclusive to PS5

Starfield 's upcoming release on PlayStation 5 on April 7th has prompted Bethesda to release a new trailer showcasing what players can expect. The trailer, shared on April 3rd, highlights standout features such as support for the adaptive trigger functionality, which increases weapon resistance thanks to Sony's DualSense controller.

Furthermore, the controller will alert players about their health status via the light bar surrounding the touchpad. You will also be able to hear audio logs through the controller's speaker.

The trailer also introduces upgraded quality and performance modes specifically for the PS5. The Starfield PS5 version offers improved visual fidelity in Quality Mode. Performance Mode, on the other hand, targets 60 FPS on the platform.

'On PlayStation 5 Pro, you can choose the look and feel that suits your playstyle. The Pro Visual Mode provides a 4K final render output targeting 30 FPS for maximum visual fidelity, while the Pro Performance Mode targets 60 FPS for a faster and smoother experience. Both modes are supported by PSSR (PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution) upscaling technology,' says Bethesda.
