When asked by the host about acquisition rumors, Heath said, 'I definitely know there are senior executives at Disney who want them to buy Epic and are just waiting for that moment to come.' On the other hand, it is noted that some executives think it is a 'bad idea.'

Heath added that if Epic Games were ever to decide to be sold, Disney would be its most natural home. Reasons for this include theme park integration, intellectual property (IP) consolidation, and the potential for Disney to become a primary gaming platform. Additionally, Unreal Engine could be a major factor in the acquisition process, as it plays a key role in the production of Disney titles such as The Mandalorian.

Meanwhile, there is no calm in the Epic Games camp. The company has been in the headlines for mass layoffs, where more than 1,000 employees were laid off. It is also known that Netflix had once considered buying giants like Electronic Arts and Disney , though these deals did not materialize.
