Sandbox Interactive has announced that the free-to-play MMORPG classic Albion Online is coming to Xbox Series platforms on April 21. Having been popular on PC and mobile devices since 2017, the title is finally stepping into the console world. The most exciting development is that the game will launch with full crossplay support; meaning you will be able to continue your adventure on Xbox with your existing account.

The Radiant Wilds update, which will be released about a week before the Xbox launch, will bring a comprehensive visual refresh to the game. With this update, the console version will be presented to players in the game's most modern and high-performance state.

Albion Online Coming to Xbox Soon

On April 21, after nearly a decade of waiting, Albion Online will move beyond PC and mobile to land on the Xbox platform for the first time. Sandbox Interactive announced that the game has been fully optimized for the console platform, adding a new user interface (UI) navigation and a custom controller scheme.

The combat system has been overhauled to better accommodate traditional controllers, and new accessibility features have been integrated into the system.

With the Albion Online Radiant Wilds update, a new visual palette, arsenal, 1v1 arena, and critical performance improvements are being added to the game.
