"textContent": "A fan-made version of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker allows players to sail the waters of Hyrule directly through their web browser.\n\nCapturing the spirit of Nintendo's beloved GameCube classic, from the relaxing sea voyages to the memorable music, this unofficial browser version has gone viral on social media.\n\nThis special project allows players to control Link's boat to search for sunken treasure between islands, while also offering an addictive game mode based on achieving high scores.\n\n## Wind Waker Has Come to PC and Mobile Devices (Sort of)\n\nThe game's main mode, 'Explore the Ocean', allows fans to sail freely using the touch surface or arrow keys of their mobile devices. While it is not possible to get off the boat and explore the islands, you can sail past iconic locations such as Outset Island and the Forsaken Fortress.\n\nPlayers can jump over obstacles, search for hidden Triforce pieces, and even use the camera feature to make minor changes to Link's appearance.\n\nThe second mode, 'Rupee’s Game', is more arcade-style. In this mode, players try to chase a high score by collecting as many Rupees as possible while avoiding floating barrels. If you take damage three times, you are sent back to the main menu.\n\nWhile it is not possible to play the entire game, taking a short sailing tour or beating high scores during coffee breaks sounds quite fun.\n\nThis is not the only project to go viral via browser this year. Previously, a developer made the original Super Monkey Ball playable online, and another turned Wikipedia into a gacha game where you could collect Pokemon cards.\n\n_For the latest_ gaming guides_and_ system requirements_, you can follow GamingAlly on_ Instagram_,_ Twitter_and Google News._",
