Death Stranding 2 PC and PS5 Features Announced
Are you ready to hit the road again with Sam Porter Bridges? As the countdown to the PC version of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach continues, Kojima Productions has detailed the new features and game modes coming to both PC and PS5 platforms.
As you may recall, the PC release date for the game was shared at the previous State of Play event. Now, we know exactly what awaits players on both platforms.
New Difficulty Level: 'To the Wilder' Mode
One of the most notable new additions in the PC and PS5 versions of Death Stranding 2 will be the 'To the Wilder' mode. This new difficulty level will test your courier skills in the harshest environmental conditions and against dangerous enemies. There is no turning back once you start this mission; however, the rewards you receive upon completion will be much more satisfying.
VR Training Area and Chiral Feline
Sam will be able to earn new equipment (such as new bandanas) through a new VR training area called “Trapped in a Strange Realm”. This area will also allow you to replay the boss fight with Neil. Additionally, you will encounter the Chiral Feline , which visits you in your private room at DHV Magellan, and you will be able to make memories with this cute friend in photo mode.
Technical Details for PC Players
If you have a powerful PC, you will be able to accompany the visual feast of Death Stranding 2 with features such as Ray Tracing , reflections, and Ambient Occlusion. The PC version will offer full integration with Nvidia DLSS, AMD FSR, and Intel XeSS technologies, as well as frame generation and unlimited FPS support.
Furthermore, for those who want to experience the PS5 on PC, full DualSense controller support (haptic feedback and adaptive triggers) and spatial audio support will also be available.
