PSSR Support for Crimson Desert and FF7 Rebirth

PlayStation 5 Pro’s highly anticipated image scaling technology, PSSR (PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution), is receiving a significant update very soon. Major titles such as Crimson Desert and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth have been added to the list of games that will benefit from this next-generation technology.

Sony will soon bring the upgraded PSSR version, which will reinforce the power of the PS5 Pro, to players. It was previously announced that the first game to use this technology would be Resident Evil Requiem. Subsequently, it was announced that Control and Alan Wake 2 would also join this caravan. Now, the list has expanded significantly, and many popular games are gaining this support.

Games Receiving Upgraded PSSR Support

According to new information shared by PlayStation; games from major publishers such as Konami , Electronic Arts , Remedy , Square Enix , and Capcom will achieve much sharper and smoother visuals with the PSSR update. Here is the full list of games that will receive upgraded PSSR support in the near future:

• Crimson Desert
• Cyberpunk 2077
• Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Most of these games will receive PSSR support with the PS5 system software update, which will be released gradually starting from March 17 at 05:00 UTC. While Crimson Desert will support this technology directly upon its release on March 19, games like Assassin’s Creed Shadows and Cyberpunk 2077 will receive their updates in the coming weeks.

On the other hand, the PlayStation Plus March 2026 game catalog and classic games list have also been clarified. Additionally, leaks regarding the release of a PlayStation 1 LEGO set later this year are occupying the agenda. Finally, news that hackers have cracked the Denuvo protection of Doom: The Dark Ages has also caused a stir in the gaming world.
