"textContent": "New details continue to emerge about the **Steam Machine** , with which Valve is preparing to make a monumental return to the console world. New information shared within the scope of GDC 2026 revealed how the device will work in harmony, especially with the **Steam Deck** library.\n\nAs you may recall, Valve announced late last year that it would return to the console market with a new generation Steam Machine. Equipped with a \\'semi-custom\\' **AMD** processor and graphics unit, this system can normally offer a 4K resolution at 60 FPS gaming experience. However, in the presentation at GDC, it became clear how **Steam Deck Verified** games will perform on this new beast.\n\n## All Steam Deck Verified Games Will Run on Steam Machine\n\nAccording to the presentation slides shared by Valve, all games verified for Steam Deck will automatically be considered verified for Steam Machine as well. Players will be able to enjoy the exact same controller experience as on Steam Deck on this console. On the performance side, Steam Machine targets 30 FPS at 1080p resolution for Deck Verified games. The most impressive part is that the device is 6 times more powerful than the **Steam Deck** in terms of pure power.\n\nAdditionally, the system does not need to test the screen resolution for text readability and uses an updated API to detect hardware. This means that games adapt to the hardware much faster.\n\n### Steam Frame and Standalone Experience\n\nDetails were not only shared about the Steam Machine but also about **Steam Frame**. Although there is no special verification program for the streaming side yet, it is stated that if the game runs well on your main computer, it will offer a smooth experience via Steam Frame.\n\nFor Standalone, meaning games run by the device's own power, the targets are quite clear: 90 FPS in standalone VR games, and 30 FPS at 1280x720 resolution in standalone 2D games.\n\nOn the other hand, Valve published a long defense text against the lawsuit filed in New York. There is also movement in the front of **Xbox** , the other giant of the console world; it was announced that developers will receive developer kits (alpha versions) for the new generation device codenamed Project Helix next year.\n\nSo, what do you think about the Steam Machine's 1080p/30 FPS target for Deck Verified games? Do you think these performance targets are sufficient, or were you expecting more from Valve? Let's meet in the comments!\n\n_For the latest_ _gaming guides_ _and_ _system requirements_ _, you can follow GamingAlly on_ _Instagram_ _,__Twitter_ _and Google News._",
