A new post from the official RE_Games X (formerly Twitter) account confirms that a new story pack for Resident Evil Requiem is on the way. The game's director, Koshi Nakanishi, announced that they have sold more than 5 million copies since its release on February 27, 2026. The director also stated that the development team will continue to fix all bugs and performance issues in the game while confirming that new content is on the way.

According to Nakanishi's statements, Resident Evil Requiem will soon receive a photo mode. The developers have a surprise planned for May 2026, and a brand new mini-game is on the way. The director later confirmed that extra story content for the game is currently in development and that this expansion will 'delve deeper into the world of Requiem.' Although no release date has been given yet, the developers state that this process will 'take some time.'
