Where have I been? An update

I have been away for a while, so here is a little update on what I have been up to. I have been back to walking at least 10K steps per day. I am currently on a 30 days streak! I also finally picked up running again: let's see how it goes tomorrow, as we are expecting rain. I have been running in the cold and dark at 6 am. Can I also run in the cold, dark and wet at 6 am? I booked an endoscopy since my stomach pain has been really bad for quite a long time now (over a month!). It is most likely caused by stress, but a test to see how messed up things are won't hurt. (Well, it will most likely kind of hurt while I am getting it, but that will be just some temporary discomfort). On the plus side, I have been eating very healthy recently, as stomach pain is a great motivator to stop drinking alcohol and eating too much. I cut off almost all coffee (I drink it once or twice per week), all alcohol, and fried food. I have been doing yoga, a little meditation (some days only 5 minutes) and journaling a little bit. I think the yoga is what is helping me the most, but I will keep the other habits too, at least for a while. I have not looked at any of my online accounts on Bluesky and Mastodon, as that is the only way for me to stop doomscrolling. I did not buy a single extra thing in January, but I got a little treat for myself this week: a faux fur coat that I liked and that was on discount. I didn't really need it, but it's good to have something to look forward too this week that isn't a camera being shoved down my throat and into my stomach. I have been spending more time with my parents recently, and I am quite happy about it! It's a bit disruptive to be half week at my place, and the other half at theirs, but I am really enjoying their company. D&D has not changed: same group, same time, every Friday evening. I am happy about that too. For my friends and I, D&D night is so much more than just sitting at a table and playing games; it is our way of putting all the stress, work and problems behind us for a few hours as we enjoy each others company and relax. Despite the stomach pains I think I have been doing well, and my mood is good. I am slightly anxious of what the endoscopy will find, but I am OK with dealing with that if and when it happens, and I am OK with enjoying my life in the meanwhile.
