"textContent": "FC Dallas hits the road this weekend, as they take on one of the top teams in the MLS, LAFC\n\nJust like we’ve done in previous seasons, to help preview the upcoming game for FC Dallas, we have asked those who cover the other side the closest for help. This week, we chatted with Trebor Tracey from Angels on Parade, to help preview LAFC.\n\n## Injury report\n\nJacob Shaffelburg is still recovering from an injury, as is Aaron Long who remains out from an injury sustained last season.\n\n## Recent Form\n\nLAFC are in spectacular form. Despite slow starts to the season the last few years, LAFC are currently unbeaten, having won all four of their matches so far. They have also only conceded one goal while scoring a combined 12 goals to open up the season. Son and Bouanga have picked up where they left off chemistry wise, and the addition of Eustaquio has only added even more firepower to the attack with him pulling strings in the midfield.\n\nHelp support independent soccer coverage throughout MLS, check out our list of recommended sites.\n\nLearn more\n\n## Projected Starting Lineup/Formation\n\n### Projected Starting XI\n\nFormation: 4-3-3\n\nST\n**Martinez**\n\nST\n**Son**\n\nST\n**Bouanga**\n\nLW\n**Tillman**\n\nCM\n**Eustaquio**\n\nCM\n**Delgado**\n\nLB\n**Palencia**\n\nCB\n**Porteous**\n\nCB\n**Tafari**\n\nRB\n**Segura**\n\nGK\n**Lloris**\n\n## Key players to watch out for\n\nThe obvious is Denis Bouanga and Heung-Min Son, but two other key players for LAFC this season have been Stephen Eustaquio in the midfield and Nkosi Tafari in defense. Eustaquio has opened up the attack even more with his ability to play up the middle, while Tafari has really blossomed as a physical defender that seems to always be in the right place at the right time.\n\n## What is one thing LAFC does better than anyone else in MLS?\n\nScoring would be the easy answer with all of the options LAFC has in attack, but one thing they have really improved on and do the best so far this season, has been the play from their midfield. Tillman, Eustaquio and Delgado all work really well together. Each player plays to their strengths, while allowing one another to focus on their individual responsibilities. Right now it is one of, if not the best midfields in the entire league, and they are already playing like it.\n\n****The FC Dallas Coverage MLS Doesn’t Give You****\n\nThe free stuff tells you what happened. A paid subscription tells you why it happened, what it means for FC Dallas, and what’s coming next—before anyone else catches up.\n\n Claim your 2026 offer today! ",
