On Wednesday morning, FC Dallas traded Homegrown defender Malachi Molina and a natural 2028 Third Round SuperDraft pick to Nashville SC.\n\nFC Dallas will acquire Nashville’s natural 2028 Second Round SuperDraft pick.\n\nMolina will be loaned to Nashville’s MLS NEXT Pro affiliate, Huntsville City FC for the 2026 season. As part of this trade, Nashville has the option to permanently acquire Molina.\n\nThe 19-year old was signed to a first team Homegrown contract last January, ahead of the 2025 season. He spent the 2025 season with North Texas SC.
