Reporting, the Easy Way (John Hinderaker for PowerLine. May 3, 2026.) I publish long articles without compensation. Never once have I published a purported quote gleaned from a search engine’s AI summary of a query. But some N.Y. Times journalists who are being paid take a different, looser approach to gathering quotes. (Albeit credit to the Times for correctly identifying the error and not deflecting blame.) 6. Growing Sinkhole Causes Safety Concerns In Red Hook (Aurora Fowlkes for News12 Brooklyn. May 3, 2026.) I walked by that intersection yesterday but did not notice the sinkhole.
