Aman at Sea Plans Amangati’s First Caribbean Season

Aman at Sea has announced its first Caribbean program for Amangati, sending the new ship through the Antilles on five- to eight-night voyages from Nov. 21, 2027, to Jan. 2, 2028. The deployment follows the vessel's scheduled spring 2027 Mediterranean debut and extends the first season into Leeward, Windward and Dutch Caribbean routes.

The program gives Aman at Sea a defined Caribbean window for its 94-guest first vessel, now being built at T. Mariotti in Genoa. Suite fares are listed from $32,000 for five nights in a Deluxe Suite to $207,900 for seven nights in the Aman Suite.

Caribbean voyages grouped across three island regions

The opening Caribbean sequence will focus on the Leeward Islands, accounting for the first four voyages in the region. Calls include Gustavia in Saint Barthelemy, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Barbuda for a Marina Day, Jost Van Dyke and Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands, Philipsburg in Sint Maarten, Saba, Little Bay in Montserrat and Prickly Pear Cay off Anguilla.

The Windward Islands voyages will operate from Saint John's and Bridgetown, sailing south through Iles des Saintes in Guadeloupe, Portsmouth in Dominica, Anse d'Arlet in Martinique and Soufriere in Saint Lucia. From there the routes continue to Canouan in the Grenadines and Saint George's in Grenada.

The Dutch Caribbean portion will depart from Bridgetown and Oranjestad, with calls at Bonaire, Willemstad and Tobago Cays in the Grenadines. The season closes at Nevis, where a two-night anchorage at a private resort will host New Year's celebrations welcoming 2028.

Late Mediterranean sailings added before Atlantic crossing

Aman at Sea also opened four additional Mediterranean voyages for booking at the end of Amangati's first European season. Aegean Treasures, scheduled for Oct. 10-18, will visit islands and harbors of the Peloponnese before continuing north to Dubrovnik and Kotor.

Italian Flavors, from Oct. 18-24, will sail from Bari through the Ionian Sea toward Sicily. Coastal Highlights follows from Oct. 24 to Nov. 1, with calls including Palermo, Naples, Rome, the Ligurian coast and the Côte d'Azur. The Western Mediterranean sailing from Nov. 1-8 will follow the Catalan and Valencian coasts and southern Andalusia before arriving in Malaga.

After those voyages, Amangati is scheduled for a 13-night Atlantic Passage with a wellness focus, sailing from Malaga through Cadiz, Ponta Delgada and the Azores to Antigua.

Vessel details and onboard spaces

Amangati is planned as a 23,000-gt, 183-meter yacht-style vessel with 47 suites, each with a private terrace. The accommodations range from the 653-square-foot Deluxe Suite to the 3,810-square-foot Aman Suite. The ship is designed for 94 guests and 207 officers and crew, and is being developed as Aman's ocean cruise venture with Cruise Saudi. It is also planned with dual-fuel capability for marine diesel oil and methanol.

On board, Amangati is planned with eight bar and dining venues and an Aman Spa. Aman Resorts, founded in 1988, operates 36 resorts in 20 countries. Aman at Sea is its first foray into water-based experiences.

During the 68th MedCruise General Assembly in Palermo, Patricia Bairrada, commercial director of the Administration of the Ports of the Autonomous Region of Madeira, said Aman at Sea had expressed interest in Madeira, "with a first call currently projected for 2028."
