"textContent": "Carnival Venezia has returned to New York City for a summer deployment from the Manhattan Cruise Terminal, opening its 2026 U.S. Northeast program in late May with cruises to Canada, New England, Bermuda and the Caribbean. The run is currently the ship’s last scheduled New York season before Carnival Firenze replaces it at the terminal in 2027.\n\nThe 4,232-passenger ship spent the winter at Port Canaveral before shifting back to Manhattan, where its New York program is scheduled to continue through early October. The Manhattan Cruise Terminal operates on the city’s west side at 711 12th Avenue.\n\n## Canada, Bermuda and Caribbean sailings from Manhattan\n\nCarnival Venezia began the season with a four-night Canada cruise that included Halifax. The ship then moved into a nine-night Eastern Caribbean itinerary with calls including Celebration Key, RelaxAway at Half Moon Cay and Grand Turk, along with four sea days before returning to New York.\n\nThe Manhattan schedule also includes short Bermuda cruises, with a series of five-night sailings that overnight at King’s Wharf.\n\n## A Costa-built ship in Carnival’s Italian-themed product\n\nThe 135,225-GT vessel was built by Fincantieri at Monfalcone and launched in 2019 as Costa Venezia before transferring to Carnival and entering service for the line in 2023. Carnival’s Fun Italian Style concept, used on Venezia and Firenze, combines the line’s onboard product with Italian-inspired décor, dining and entertainment.\n\nThe incoming Carnival Firenze has a similar Costa lineage. The 135,156-GT ship was built in 2021 as Costa Firenze, transferred to Carnival and renamed in 2024, and has a double-occupancy guest capacity of 4,126.\n\n## Port Canaveral winter program precedes Miami move\n\nAfter the New York season, Carnival Venezia is scheduled to operate seven- to 14-night cruises from Port Canaveral to the Southern, Eastern and Western Caribbean between October 2026 and May 2027. The ship is then scheduled to reposition to Miami for summer 2027.\n\nCarnival Firenze is currently based year-round on the West Coast and is due in New York on May 27, 2027, for its first U.S. Northeast season. Its Manhattan cruises are scheduled to include the Caribbean, Bahamas, Bermuda and Canada.\n\n_See_ current Carnival Venezia fares and itineraries_on Cruise Lookup._",
